Kendrick in Houston Postponed to December 29

Kendrick Lamar : Houston : We’d be lying if we said we wanted to postpone this show. Of course we didn’t. It was out of our hands. With that being said – most promoters and artists would have just cancelled the show, gave y’all your $ back and scheduled a new show on a more expensive ticket at a bigger venue. Kendrick is one of the hottest artists in the world right now. But no, TDE stuck with us, making it possible for you all to see Kendrick in a small/intimate setting instead of an arena. Furthermore we have something planned that will make this a very unique experience. I just wanted to drop y’all a note, and explain how hard we’ve battled to do right by you.” – Sascha on behalf of the ScoreMore family.

Kendrick will be in Houston on December 29. Snag your tickets now.

Solange Knowles – Losing You

Source: Okayafrica.com

I’m not sure how many Solange fans there out there, but this video needs to be seen nonetheless. The song is titled “Losing You”, and the production was done by Dev Hynes of Blood Orange. The dreamy fun vibes of the beat juxtaposes the lyrics amazingly. The words provide you with a sense of sadness and uncertainty, but the beat just makes you want to dance and enjoy a great day in the sun. Crazy! Much like the song, this video also provides a contrast of the beauty that can come out of a country that is traditionally thought of as ugly and unfortunate, the Congo. I absolutely love the video, but everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. Also, check out what Solange had to say about the inspiration for this video here.
