If you haven’t listened to that album you’re really missing out. It was heavily slept on last year and was one of the best of the year.

That fact was crystal clear when his-MGK-ness took the stage at Trees to a sold out crowd full of fans who wanted nothing more than to rock with the kid…and maybe mosh with him too. Behind the Scenes with Kendrick Lamar [Video]

Spotify gives us a dope video of Kendrick’s experience during SXSW leading up to his show with them. Kendrick’s seen in the visuals always making new music no matter where he is. He’s listening to beats with his headphones on wherever he’s at and writing down lyrics. He talks about his experience dropping the album and watching it take off and just spread around the people. He says that he thinks the best part of the whole process is going and performing in front of a big crowd.

Young Jeezy – R.I.P. (Feat. Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, & E-40) [G Mix]

The LA Leakers dropped this exclusive “G Mix” of the club  banger “RIP” by Young Jeezy late last night. Jeezy took to the west coast with this cut of the track. After already pushing out a remix to the track that featured the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown among others this version has some Cali legends in Snoop, $hort, and E-40 spitting rhymes. J. Cole & Miguel Live at Barclays – Power Trip [Video]

Miguel himself brought out J. Cole for a very special performance of their smash hit  “Power Trip” live at the Barclays Arena in Brooklyn. The song sounds so nice with a live band playing behind the two. Also a very big day for Cole as he finally announced the released date for his upcoming album.

TNGHT – Acrylics

The latest from british electronic duo TNGHT is this song they just dropped called “Acrylics”. The two producers Lunice and Hudson Mohawke bring it on every track they do and this is no exception.
