As expected A$AP Mob dropped the singles “Telephone Calls” and “Runner” off of their upcoming project Cozy Tapes Vol, 1: Friends, which honors the late A$AP Yams.
Today the Mob finally announced details for their upcoming album, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends, including the album artwork, tracklist, and release date.
Earlier this week A$AP Rocky announced that A$AP Mob’s upcoming album Cozy Tapes Vol. 1 was finally finished. Today, he released a twelve minute short film featuring two songs off of the tape, “Money Man” and “Put That On My Set”.
A$AP Rocky stays making moves. This past Friday, he was announced Creative Director of MTV Labs. Following the announcement, he dropped A$AP Mob’s single “Crazy Brazy” (feat. A$AP Rocky, Key!, A$AP Twelvy).

If nothing else, you have to admire the unity of the A$AP Mob. Today they released a music video for the Yams-inspired joint, celebrating the late founder of the Mob. The trippy colors, nostalgically pixelated transitions, Lambos, and big booty women probably have Steven Rodriguez wildin’ and dabbin’ in excitement upstairs. The Mob obviously still misses their front man a lot, going so far as to bring Stevie’s mom into the music video.
Nevertheless, the video isn’t sad and mopey. It’s a glorification of life and all the good times left to have. Vibe with them below.
Yesterday on 106 & Park, the A$AP Mob premiered the first single for their compilation album set for a March 4th release date. A$AP Mob released the tracklist for their collaborative album, <em>Lord$ Never Worry</em>, dropping tonight at midnight. We'll be seeing the likes of Raekwon, Danny Brown, Fat Trel and Jim Jones on the features and Clams Casino, A$AP Ty Beats and AraabMuzik producing among many others.
