Surprise! <a href="http://scoremoreshows.com/?s=the-dream"target="_blank">The-Dream</a> is back. Today the R&B singer/songwriter released an 8-track project full of Sam Cooke covers, of all things. According to The-Dream, his "mother loved a lot of artist [sic] growing up, but the one [they] shared the most interest in together was Sam Cooke." <em>IAMSAM</em> is a tribute to his mom and one of their favorite artists. The project includes all your favorite tracks from the legendary soul singer, including "You Send Me" and the best-known and forever-referenced "A Change Is Gonna Come." The-Dream puts his own spin on the soul covers, while still paying respect to one of the greatest to ever do it. Finally, some Dream tracks you can listen to with your grandma. J. COLE ANNOUNCES ‘DOLLAR AND A DREAM TOUR III: FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS’

J. Cole’s critically acclaimed mixtape The Warm Up has hit it’s 6-year anniversary mark today. In celebration, Cole has announced the Dollar and a Dream Tour III: Friday Night Lights. Presented by Puma, the North Carolina MC will perform his project Friday Night Lights in it’s entirety for the first time ever. The 4-date tour will travel through Dallas, New York City, Atlanta and Los Angeles starting on June 21st. The show will only cost $1.00 and the secret venue locations will be announced via Cole’s Twitter. Dreamville artists Omen, Bas and Cozz will also perform. J. Cole also released his latest vlog from his Dollar and a Dream: The Warm Up tour last year which features cameos from Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Watch the footage above.

A$AP Rocky – “L$D (LOVE x $EX x DREAMS)”

As if the rumors surrounding A.L.L.A weren’t tantalizing enough, Rocky dropped a psychedelic roller coaster for his “L$D (LOVE x $EX x DREAMS).” The new track starts in way we haven’t really heard before, adding more anticipation for his delayed drop. The execution of the song concept is flawless, as trippy visuals flow beautifully against his harsh verses. The video is a work of art. Kanye West even announced his own form of respect as he tweeted the video link on his own page.
