The Internet’s Ego Death has created some great sensation. They’ve now debuted a video for “Get Away” off of their third album in perfect timing with their tour swinging through the South. In her usual calm and collected fashion, Syd sings her smooth lines and lets the rest of the crowd go wild.

The Internet is on tour right now, stopping in Dallas tonight, San Antonio on Sunday, and Austin on Monday night. Don’t miss out on a dope show.

The Internet — The Ego Death Tour — Four Texas Shows

the-internet-ego-death

In December of 2011, The Internet blessed R&B with other-worldly music in their debut album Purple Naked Ladies. Since then, Odd Future alumni Syd the Kyd and Matt Martians have been giving us soulful sounds with members Patrick Paige, Christopher Smith and Jameel Bruner. The Internet’s headlining tour follows the release of their third studio album Ego Death. Leading up to the album release, The Internet teased fans by releasing the singles “Girl” and “Special Affair,” both featuring the mesmerizing vocals of Syd to accompany beautifully orchestrated instrumentals. Their four Texas stops will include opening performances from Moonchild, St. Beauty and other artists that compliment the celestial sounds of The Internet — like Milky Wayv featuring Bobby Earth from Houston.

Grab your tickets for one of the upcoming shows below, and stream The Internet if your ears have yet to be blessed by their etherial sounds. You can purchase Ego Death on iTunes.

Japanese producer creates his own version of “TLOP”

a2681297611_10

A Japanese producer that goes by the name of TOYOMU has put a new twist on the mastery that is The Life Of Pablo, conviniently called: Imagining “The Life Of Pablo”. Kanye’s latest album has not been made available in Japan yet since “#NoTIDALinJapan.” Without hearing TLOP, he created his own imaginative convoluted version probably using bits and pieces he picked up off of the internet, as he dedicated the album to WhoSampled.com  and Genius.com. Check out the album on Bandcamp.

Future Previews New Music on Snapchat

Future

In this day and age, it’s not at all uncommon for artists to use social media to instantly share anything from their concerts to their pets to their deep late night thoughts with their fans. Snapchat is becoming a more popular medium because of its what’s-happening-now vibe and the fact that stories disappear after 24 hours so fans really have to be on their game if they want to catch their favorite artists’ every moment. Future took this idea and ran with it by sharing new music today via the popular app. Could this mean a new album soon? The great thing about the Internet is even though these snaps technically disappear within 24 hours, the real MVPs always find a way to save them. Listen to Future’s new snippets in the clips below.

Future *might* just play this new music when he headlines this year’s JMBLYA alongside a killer lineup: Kehlani, Rae Sremmurd, Kevin Gates, Jazz Cartier, Post Malone and more. This may just be the best JMBLYA yet, so don’t miss out. Get tickets while you still can at the links below.

Dallas – 5/13
Austin – 5/14

Miguel ft. Travis $cott- “Waves (Remix)”

miguel

While the internet is riding Kanye’s wave today, Miguel brought another take to his Wildheart track “Waves” with Travis $cott on the assist. With the sultry tone of the entire album, adding $cott on one of the tracks only makes too much sense. Check it out below and make sure to cop Wildheart on iTunes if you haven’t already.
