Surprise! Drake dropped not one, but two brand new singles titled “One Dance” featuring Wizkid & Kyla and “Pop Style” featuring Jay Z and Kanye West. The newly debuted songs are Drake’s second and third single off his upcoming album Views from The 6.

The singles follows up “Summer Sixteen,” which Drake premiered back in January on his Beats 1 show OVO Sound Radio. Consequently, Drake joins forces with The Throne, the group Jay Z and Kanye West created in 2012 for their Watch The Throne album. Even though Jay Z only contributed a single bar and some ad-libs, it’s still pretty major since Jay Z hasn’t been featured on a song in over a year. Additionally, “One Dance” features Wizkid, who is one of Nigeria’s biggest artists, and follows in the Dancehall footsteps of Drake’s number one single “Work” with Rihanna.

Just days after the surprise announcement of their joint venture, Detroit rapper Big Sean and Los Angeles songstress Jhene Aiko have joined forces to create a musical duo titled TWENTY88. The eight-track album, available to stream exclusively through TIDAL for four days, and fans can download it at other digital retailers including Apple Music.

According to Rap-up, the album combines ’90s R&B and ’70s experimental rock and soul, explores the highs and lows of a relationship, while delving into conflict, memories, love, and sex. K-Ci & JoJo appear on the Detail-produced “2 Minute Warning,” with additional production from Key Wane and Tommy Brown.

“Music now doesn’t really cater to the feelings of a real relationship,” Aiko recently told Flaunt. “It’s all about trapping and bragging. I feel like this project is something that’s needed right now…Especially a whole project, is just good for people to see. That duality is a perfect combination.

Wiz Khalifa – Electric Relaxation (Phife Dawg Tribute)

Wiz Khalifa has joined the list of hip-hop artists who have honored the legendary Phife Dawg, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 45. The entire Hip Hop community has definitely come together to mourn and celebrate the life of a rap pioneer. Furthermore, Wiz has shared a tribute remix of “Electric Relaxation,” a track by Phife and A Tribe Called Quest on the classic 1993 album, Midnight Marauders, in the wake of Phife’s death.

The homage to Phife was posted on the Taylor Gang official website, and Wiz recently dropped a video for the track to pay another tribute to Phife. Out of respect to A Tribe Called Quest, which was co-founder by Phife, Wiz kept the original beat and reworked some lyrics of his own. Check it out below:

Tory Lanez – Tim Duncan

Tory Lanez is paying homage to one of the best to ever play the game of basketball with his latest release titled “Tim Duncan.” “I’m with those shooters,” he raps over C-Sick’s super high-energy beat. He also shouts out Uber but as the title suggests, his lyrics really focuses on San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan.

In 2015, he released a collaboration EP, Cruel Intentions with WeDidIt Records, and Lanez’ debut album is set to be released in 2016.

Mannie Fresh – Hate (Feat. Juvenile & Lil Wayne)

Mannie Fresh - Hate
Mannie Fresh recently released a new song titled “Hate,” which is a new single with Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and, on the intro and outro, Birdman. This marks Wayne and Birdman’s first reunion on a track together since they reconciled, and were photographed together in Miami.

“One word to describe this track: Bawesome—because I’m a boss and I’m awesome,” said Mannie in a statement. “I’ve put a lot of effort into making this track happen. I’ve always been the liaison between these guys, they took my word and put their trust in me in bringing everyone together for this hot track. You definitely can expect more from this project I’m about to drop with Mass Appeal Records. This is just the foreplay, you can expect the eargasm later.”

Last month, Mannie Fresh announced a joint album with Juvenile and Lil Wayne after releasing pictures with both rappers in the studio together over the holidays. This will be the first time since their days as one half of the Hot Boys that the former Cash Money Records artist and producer Mannie Fresh will be all be working together. A release date for the project has not been released.
