Chance the Rapper just dropped a beautiful studio version of the theme song from the popular ’90s cartoon, Arthur, with his band The Social Experiment. “Wonderful Day” features vocals from Jessie Ware, Elle Varner, Wyclef Jean, Francis and the Lights, Eryn Allen Kane, The O’My’s, Peter Cottontale and Donnie Trumpet. The Chicago MC released the song on the Lollapalooza website in anticipation of his set at his hometown music festival this weekend. Listen below.
Compton-based artist YG has released another video from his chart-topping album My Krazy Life. The next single is “Bicken Back Bein Bool” (because of course we can’t use the letter C). The Alex Nazari-directed video (which was actually written by YG himself) shows elements of a day in the life of YG and his Bompton crew, including the neighborhood, a dominoes game, weed, rival gangs, and of course the cops.
