that-part-remix

Thursday, before the official release of Blank Face LP, TDE’s CEO Anthony Tiffith dropped the Black Hippy Remix for “THat Part”. OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, OKAY!

In the remix, Q acknowledges this week’s police shootings in which two black men were killed: “Gang bangin’ like we stand for somethin’/When Alton Sterling gettin’ killed for nothin’/Two cowards in the car, they’re just there to film/Sayin’ #BlackLivesMatter should’ve died with him.”

TDE’s CEO has confirmed that there will be a TDE label tour once “everyone drops their albums”, so we have that to look forward to in the future.

Tickets for our Dallas and Houston shows are SOLD OUT, but you can stream the remix below and make sure to check out Blank Face LP.

Desiigner Performs Future’s “I Got The Keys”

desiigner

Admit it, when you heard “Panda” for the first time you were a bit confused. You found yourself realizing that it wasn’t actually Future rapping and needed some answers. And the funny thing is, Future was just as confused as you.

This weekend at his performance in Atlantic City, Desiigner performed “I Got The Keys” which isn’t even his song…it’s Futures. Basically this gives us the inevitable confirmation that we needed. Desiigner is indeed trying to be Future.

Stay tuned to see if Future responds (probably not tho).

Frank Ocean Hints Album Release

Frank

DROP EVERYTHING!! The long awaited follow-up to Frank Oceans’ Channel ORANGE may finally have a release date.

On Saturday morning, Frank posted a picture to his tumblr of a library due date slip. Various dates are listed, most of which have already passed, BUT there is a July 2016 date on the card. The actual date is the only one smudged, hinting that his project is to drop at some point this month. Franks’ brother, Ryan Breaux, also posted the same image to his IG with the hashtag #July2016. Is this the official confirmation we need?

November 13, 2016 is also listed on the card, so who knows. At this point all we can do is wait.

Awge directs the video. Awge and Born Original Productions are on production. “What” is to be featured on A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes, set to drop later this summer.
