It’s time to get familiar with Fashawn. The 26-year-old MC from Fresno, CA just released a short documentary on his journey to where he is today. Nas executive-produced this doc which interviews the many people who had an influence in Fashawn’s life and career, inlcuding his mother, guardian, social worker, manager, friends and Exile, his producer. The doc discusses Fashawn growing up with a drug-addicted mother, the beginning of his career, his relationship with his daughter, and finally, signing with Nas.
