With the popularity he acquired after the release of his album Shadow Of A Doubt, Gangsta Gibbs is still on the grind. This new track is called “Money, Cash, Hoes”, which features production from Beat Bully. “Money, Cash, Hoes” features a piano centered beat that bangs menacingly while Gibbs give his gritty “dope raps”. Gibbs shows us again his musical versatility with this darker toned track, on which he delivers flawlessly. There is not too many rappers who can work with Madlib then turn around and drop some gangster “ish”. Gibbs is definitely straddling the line from “conscious” to “gangster”.
