GoldLink took to Twitter to announce that he would be dropping his debut album, And After That, We Didn”t Talk, a week earlier than initially expected. He also used the opportunity to share the artwork for the album and the tracklist– what a busy guy!

Soon after, GoldLink released two online casino of the tracks off the album to the public, “Dark Skinned Woman” and “New Black”. The first is an ode to women, accompanied by big band sound and jovial groove. Listen to it here along with a brief interview by Annie Mac.
“New Black” tells a story of the struggle we”ve seen go down a million and one ways. It”s got a lighthearted sound that”s easy to get into, with lyrics that are arresting and smoothly delivered. GoldLink has successfully blown up the anticipation for his release on Friday.
