Last night during halftime of Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Hov announced his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail via Samsung commercial. The commercial shows Jay going through the process of making this album, how it’s going to be delivered to Samsung users for free, and shows us a sneak peek of some of the beats behind the raps he’s going to relinquish on us come July 4th via Pharrell, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, and Rick Rubin. Wow, only weeks away, could Jay have found the ultimate marketing plan when it comes to hip hop or will this fail? Guess we’ll have to find out on July 4th. God Bless America.
