A month ago, Kirk Knight dropped the first single, “Knight Time,” off his upcoming album Late Knight Special. Shortly after we got to hear “Goodnight,” a track featuring Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies and Dizzy Wright. This week, Knight gives us another track off the upcoming project titled “Dead Friends.” Featuring gut-punching bars by Noname Gypsy and a killer guitar solo courtesy of Thundercat. The title of the song and the dismal, personal lyrics fit perfectly with the dark tone of the album. Knight raps the chorus: Every time I feel alive I think of dead friends, the rest are just dead to me. His album drops Oct. 30 and is available for preorder on iTunes.
