A$AP Mob ft. Juicy J – “Yamborghini High” (video)

yamborghini high

If nothing else, you have to admire the solidarity of the A$AP Mob. Today, the family released a music video for the Yams-inspired joint, celebrating the late founder of the Mob. The trippy colors, nostalgically pixelated transitions, Lambos, and big booty women probably have Steven Rodriguez wildin’ and dabbin’ in excitement upstairs. The Mob obviously still misses their front man a lot, going so far as to bring Stevie’s mom into the music video.

Nevertheless, the video isn’t sad and mopey. It’s a glorification of life and all the good times left to have. Vibe with them below.

Watching Lord Flacko at work never gets old. The versatility of the A$AP rapper is undeniable. With his modeling work piling up alongside his music, he’s got plenty of goodness to go around. Rocky dropped a new track yesterday and today he gave us a short 2 minute video for his “JD” cut off of At.Long.Last.A$AP. Check it out below.

A$AP Rocky ft Pharrell- “Hear Me”

A$AP Rocky didn’t let Twitter’s mess distract him from his creative process today. The rapper posted a link to the AWGE Soundcloud page which included an official version “Yamborghini High” and Drake & Rocky’s mix of “Wu-tang Forever.” In addition, a new song with Pharrell and A$AP Rocky popped up, called “Hear Me.” It includes Rocky’s flow that we’ve come to know and love, and Pharrell’s snazzy production. The cover art features Skateboard P wearing a shirt that has N.E.R.D.’s logo on it. As an avid fan of the group’s music, this writer has been dying for the rumored new music to come. In the meantime, enjoy some new music below.

Pusha T ft Kanye West & A$AP Rocky- “M.P.A.” [video]

Pusha’s reigning streak of moves has no signs of slowing down. With the newest video for his star-studded track, “M.P.A.”, Push brings in Rocky and The Dream for this behind-the-scenes video of a music video. Colors, women, lights, alcohol and some reefer drift in a formless combination over the minimalist beat that carries the song. Check out the video below.

(P.S.- Kanye didn’t make it. Anyone surprised?)

At a festival performance in Hong Kong, Lord Pretty Flacko premiered a new track dedicated to the beloved A$AP Yams, whose passing hits its’ first anniversary in January. The video stream is woefully poor, but the audio quality is better than most live performances that are played back. Peep the party below.

Long Live A$AP Yams.

A$AP Rocky ft Rod Stewart, Miguel, & Mark Ronson [video]

Lord Flacko gave us a “hip-hop Hollywood story” for the hit “Everyday”  that co-stars his collaborators Rod Stewart, Miguel and Mark Ronson. In an eerie video that seems to foretell his own future, Rocky climbs up the ladder of success and embraces the spotlight. The lights, women, and money vaguely remind us his lifestyle right now. The disconnected video seems to piece together a tale of well-earned fame, a stroke of bad luck, recovery and a final tragedy that ends Flacko’s life.

A$AP Rocky – Jukebox Joints [Video]

A$AP Rocky
At long last, A$AP Rocky has given us his newest video, this one for his Kanye West assisted single “Jukebox Joints”. This melancholy love anthem by Rocky was a definite favorite from his sophomore album because of its soothing sample and abstract groove. AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP was A$AP Rocky‘s chance to show his more conceptual lyricism. Jukebox Joints is a vent of his commitment and trust issues in his previous realtionships. So it’s only fitting that the visual for this is out-of-the-box and even a bit trippy. A$AP Rocky shared this visual yesterday and you can watch below.

Selena Gomez ft. A$AP Rocky – “Good For You” [audio]

Selena Gomez is evolving beautifully. From a teeny-bop sound, she’s grown into an artist with a hauntingly seductive voice. While her content on “Good For You” is still more implied than explicit, she’s definitely going for the more mature crowd. A$AP Rocky lent a jiggy verse on the track, opening up his horizons even more than he did on A.L.L.A. Selena’s new album Stars Dance is due out later this year and the new single is available on iTunes now. Peep the 30 second preview to the music video below, as well as the full track.

A$AP Rocky drops “At.Long.Last.A$AP”

AtLongLastASAPCover

In a sudden and all too pleasant surprise, A$AP Rocky dropped his sophomore album At.Long.Last.A$AP a week sooner than his re-scheduled release date. At 18 tracks deep, it’s evident that Rocky had a lot to say. With impressive features like Kanye West, Mos Def, James Fauntelroy & M.I.A., his level of respect is opened to new leagues. The tones of the album are arrogant, thugged out, and dark. He’s no stranger to his own evils, though, and calls on them to bring the wickedness to his bars. His willingness to dabble in other elements of music make the drawn out hype all worth it. It’s a draped up and fleshed out collection of wonderfully cocky anthems.
