French Montana – “Said N Done” (Ft. ASAP Rocky)

French Montana has released the music video for his MC4 track titled “Said N Done” featured ASAP Rocky. The song was released back in August of 2016 as part of French’s mixtape Mac N Cheese 4 (MC4).

According to Complex, the song “samples Wu-Tang Clan’s “Tearz,” and includes a reference to Busta Rhymes’ iconic verse on A Tribe Called Quest’s “Scenario.” Watch the video for “Said N Done” below!

VMAs Leave Audience Confused, Inspired, and Disgusted

The VMAs were not completely awful. The Weeknd put on a fire performance (literally), Nicki Minaj won Best Hip Hop Video, Fetty Wap got Best New Artist, and even ASAP Rocky hit the stage.

Of course we can’t talk about last night without addressing the moment Nicki Minaj called out Miley Cyrus on stage for some things Cyrus said to the New York Times last week. After accepting her award for Best Hip Hop Video, Nicki turned to Miley calling her out for the slander. The world momentarily stopped.

As if the night couldn’t get any better, Kanye accepted his Video Vanguard award, presented by Taylor Swift, and proceeded to give an inspiring speech. In the speech West covered a lot, but one main take away was West calling out MTV for their corporate shenanigans related to the award show. At the end of the speech Kanye announced his decision to run for president in 2020. The internet exploded, and the importance of this year’s election became void as we all prepare ourselves to volunteer on the West 2020 campaign. The bad news? Still no word on his next album release.

Get More:

The night ended with Miley Cyrus giving her own performance. After being called out by Nicki and a few other missteps, the audience (AKA all of Twitter) was very done with its hostess. Still, she surprised everyone by dropping a free 23-track album titled Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Pets.

If you missed the hot mess that was the 2015 VMAs, don’t worry. Chance The Rapper and Rihanna were not even there.

#vmas are on tonight. Me and @badgalriri will NOT be in attendance 🚫🏆

A$AP Rocky continues his press run in Los Angeles and visits REAL 92.3 on Big Boy’s Neighborhood for an interview. Rocky and Big Boy sit down and discuss dreaming about new records, his rise to fame, the music industry, his feature in the upcoming movie DOPE and much more. At.Long.Last.A$AP is in stores now and available on iTunes. Watch the full footage of the interview below.

A$AP Rocky – “L$D (LOVE x $EX x DREAMS)”

As if the rumors surrounding A.L.L.A weren’t tantalizing enough, Rocky dropped a psychedelic roller coaster for his “L$D (LOVE x $EX x DREAMS).” The new track starts in way we haven’t really heard before, adding more anticipation for his delayed drop. The execution of the song concept is flawless, as trippy visuals flow beautifully against his harsh verses. The video is a work of art. Kanye West even announced his own form of respect as he tweeted the video link on his own page.

Take a trip down the wild side and fall in love with “L$D”.

A$AP Rocky – Everyday (ft. Miguel & Rod Stewart & Mark Ronson)

A$AP Rocky dropped some unfortunate news at a Red Bull interview in Harlem on Thursday night. At.Long.Last.ASAP will be released on June 2nd instead of the original release date of Tuesday May 12th. The highly anticipated album is said to have features from some great and very varied artists: Bun B, Juicy J, FKA Twigs, Lykke Li, to name a few. To alleviate the sting, though, Rocky released “Everyday” featuring smooth vocals from Rod Stewart & Miguel & Mark Ronson. The joint is well-polished and totally left field– everything you could expect from the great A$AP Rocky.
