As the counterpart visual to the single of the summer “Can”t Feel My Face,” the mix of emotions and power of the songs makes it impossible to look away from the violence on screen. As “Tell casino Your Friends” segues into “Real Life,” the drama of the mini-movie falls into a smooth getaway. The soundtrack suggests that the album has echoes of his Trilogy vibes with more evolved production and an impressive roster of collaborators. In addition to announcing his forthcoming tour, Abel has his fans sitting at the edge of their seats as they watch this video.
After releasing his “Can’t Feel My Face” video with Apple, The Weeknd tweeted the tracklist for his second album Beauty Behind the Madness. The album is set to come out August 28. Since “Can’t Feel My Face” hit No. 2 on the charts and became an essential summer song, we can only hope that this upcoming album ends the summer on a high note.
