Dreamville announced earlier this week that they would be releasing their second installment for December 11th. But, it looks like as of early this morning, they have decided to bless us with an early release of Revenge of the Dreamers II  today and is now readily available to cop on iTunes.

Chance the Rapper/Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment – “Surf”

Without warning, Chance the Rapper & longtime friend Donnie Trumpet finally released Surf. In line with the easygoing nature of the artists, the album is available for free on iTunes. The album has some legendary contributors and makes for quite an arresting experience. The experimental group (pun definitely intended) has been working on this project for a long time, with sporadic releases here and there. When Chano announced that Surf would be released within a week at the beginning of the month, fans rallied and cheered. When that didn’t happen, they released “Hiatus Broadcast” a week ago. Chance has proven that the two years since Acid Rap hasn’t slowed him down in the least. Fans looking for a full Chance album aren’t going to find what they want on Surf. Even so, the jazzy sounds and snazzy rhymes don’t disappoint, and Chance’s new aged style adds to the grace of the delivery. Check out the track listing below and treat yourself to a new kind of sound, courtesy of The Social Experiment.
