Ab-Soul – Womanogamy [Video]

Soulo

This is quite the video. Ab-Soul dropped visuals for his latest track “Womanogamy” off his newly released album Do What Thou Wilt and it is extremely NSFW. It’s also compelling, beautifully shot, and most certainly unforgettable. Directed by Yellow Nguyen, this video draws you in from the start with the instantly recognizable TDE logo to the very last second. The story starts with a hilarious skit about not being able to get into a strip club (maybe relatable for some of you reading this?) and follows Soulo through the club with the subject of the track, WOMEN, everywhere. Let’s face it, this video is borderline softcore porn. It’s also so visually appealing and mesmerizing that you almost don’t hear the song. Check it out for yourself below. Do What Thou Wilt is available on iTunes now.

Ab-Soul – “D.R.U.G.S.” [Single + Visual]

ab

Ab-Soul has dropped yet another single off of Do What Thou Wilt (DWTW), “D.R.U.G.S.”

Soul’s “D.R.U.G.S.” isn’t your typical bangin’ drug song, it hits the not so glamorous side of drug use/abuse. The visual begins with the acronym:

Don’t
Ruin
Us
God
Said

which definitely puts a spin on things. Soulo raps about loving (the obvious) drugs, his fam, and friends, but the visual is what truly makes this song.

We see several unique things throughout the visual, like a melting skull, black roses in flames, balloons, science beakers, and Soulo in an antique mirror, as well as some pretty trippy images. There are definitely a few subliminal messages within.

Peep “D.R.U.G.S.” below and make sure to cop DWTW this Friday!

Ab-Soul – Do What Thou Wilt [Album Details + Single]

Today Ab-Soul released details for his highly anticipated album, Do What Thou Wilt (DWTW), including the album artwork and release date.

DWTW is set to drop this Friday, December 9th – the same day as J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyes Only and Post Malone’s Stoney. Safe to say it’ll be a BIG day in the rapisphere my friends!

Soulo also dropped the first single off of DWTW, “Threatening Nature”. He inevitably spits the truth, and hits heavy topics (like always). It’s real, he’s real, and it definitely gives us something to look forward to with this album.

Peep “Threatening Nature” below and make sure to cop DWTW this Friday!

UPDATE:
Soulo also released the tracklist. Notable features include Bas, ScHoolboy Q, SZA, and Mac Miller. Check it out:
