Top Dawg posted a tentative schedule of TDE’s releases for 2016 back in February, and they’ve kept their word since.

Side note- the “get Top on the phone” note next to Kendrick’s name is pure genius, with his surprise untitled unmastered dropping just a week after the post. Bravo, gentlemen.

Shit about to get nasty real soon… I told y’all I got y’all in 2016 #TDE

ScHoolboy Q and Kanye West teamed up for “THat Part,” a slow but hard-hitting cut that should keep fans appeased until Q’s new album release later this year. Even Yeezy’s yelling to get Top on the phone! Currently the track is only available on Apple Music.

Drake Releases Two New Singles — Hear ‘Pop Style’ & ‘One Dance’

Surprise! Drake dropped not one, but two brand new singles titled “One Dance” featuring Wizkid & Kyla and “Pop Style” featuring Jay Z and Kanye West. The newly debuted songs are Drake’s second and third single off his upcoming album Views from The 6.

The singles follows up “Summer Sixteen,” which Drake premiered back in January on his Beats 1 show OVO Sound Radio. Consequently, Drake joins forces with The Throne, the group Jay Z and Kanye West created in 2012 for their Watch The Throne album. Even though Jay Z only contributed a single bar and some ad-libs, it’s still pretty major since Jay Z hasn’t been featured on a song in over a year. Additionally, “One Dance” features Wizkid, who is one of Nigeria’s biggest artists, and follows in the Dancehall footsteps of Drake’s number one single “Work” with Rihanna.

The stream is no longer available, but the links to iTunes are below:

Japanese producer creates his own version of “TLOP”

A Japanese producer that goes by the name of TOYOMU has put a wickedly cool twist on the mastery that is The Life Of Pablo, conveniently called: Imagining “The Life Of Pablo”. Kanye’s latest album has not been made available in Japan yet since “#NoTIDALinJapan.” Without hearing TLOP, he created his own imaginative, convoluted version probably using bits and pieces he picked up off of the internet, as he dedicated the album to WhoSampled.com  and Genius.com. Check out the album on Bandcamp.

Tyler, The Creator- “What The Fuck Right Now” [video]

Tyler has always been an avid fan of Kanye, even going as far as pretending to shoot a “Rolling Stone” cover for the mega-artist. With The Life of Pablo having had time to digest in the public, lots of prominent figures have openly declared their favorites. A few remixes to Ye’s acapella “I Love Kanye” have been put out, but Tyler took “Freestyle 4” and blew it up in his own way, with A$AP Rocky on the assist. Check it out below.

All you have to do is google “west” and your the page will be flooded with Kanye! That’s how busy he has been these last couple days. Just yesterday, he debuted he newly titled album, The Life Of Pablo, at a huge event in Madison Square Garden. This live debut of The Life Of Pablo also featured the unveiling of the Yeezy Season 3 clothing line, designed by Yeezy himself. As we count the hour till The Life of Pablo drops, we have a new Yeezy track that will be featured. This meloncholy retrospective track , called “30 Hours”, gives us some honest and heartfelt bars from Kanye. He released this gritty track via soundcloud/twitter with the caption “Now that the album is finally finished it’s back to Good Fridays.” Let’s hope this means a consistent tradition. You can listen to “30 Hours” below.

A Message from Yasiin Bey

maxresdefault

With Yasiin’s recent legal troubles, the whole world was waiting with bated breath to see what would become of the legend as South Africa demanded that he and his family leave the country. Last night, Kanye posted a message from Bey on his website. The ten-minute long phone recording has Yasiin free-styling on his own “No More Parties in SA,” followed by condemnation of the South African government for infringement on his and his family’s rights.

He also announced his immediate retirement from music and Hollywood after he drops his last studio album this year, which has probably broken the hearts of his fans all over. He closes out his message with a prayer and some verses that he had rapped to Ye before Nori was born. Even with the scandal, Yasiin handled pretty stylishly.

Kanye West feat. Kendrick Lamar- No More Parties in L.A.

nomorepartiesinla

Last week began the beginning of Kanye West’s reappearance to the internet surprising us with the announcement of the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays. The internet was on the edge of their seat with him posting & re-posting his song “Real Friends” featuring Ty Dolla Sign with a snippet at the end to intro “No More Parties in LA” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Although we were promised new music on Friday’s, Kanye delayed the track to be released this morning. To say it was well worth the wait is an understatement, with unrelenting bars from Kendrick and Kanye this truly is a 6 minute classic. Peep the link below and keep out for more music on G.O.O.D. Friday’s leading to the release of Kanye West’s new album SWISH to be released in February.

Erykah Badu- “Trill Friends” [remix]

Fat Belly Bella has returned to the spotlight in a glorious fashion. After the praise for remixing Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and releasing a mixtape with a similar theme, Erykah took her talents to Kanye West’s recently released “Real Friends.” Unlike her “You Cain’t Use My Phone” remix, though, she kept most of the original theme and called her version “Trill Friends.” She hinted that this remix was “from a forth coming mixtape ‘THIS $h!t TOO EASY.'” Given the rest of the text uploaded with the song, it seems like she’s probably just joshing around… but let’s hope she’s not. Vibe out with your trill friends to Badu’s ballad bellow.

Pusha T ft Kanye West & A$AP Rocky- “M.P.A.” [video]

Pusha’s reigning streak of moves has no signs of slowing down. With the newest video for his star-studded track, “M.P.A.”, Push brings in Rocky and The Dream for this behind-the-scenes video of a music video. Colors, women, lights, alcohol and some reefer drift in a formless combination over the minimalist beat that carries the song. Check out the video below.

(P.S.- Kanye didn’t make it. Anyone surprised?)

G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean, Travis Scott, & Kanye West all drop new tracks on NYE

Big-Sean-Kanye-West-Travis-Scott-

To say the 2015-2016 NYE was “good” would be a very grand understatement given the release of a few new tracks from some of these greats. To start off the year, we were given a Big Sean track to reflect on 2015 featuring Pharell & Detail titled “What a Year”, followed by 2 new tracks from La Flame Travis Scott’s “A-Team” & “Wonderful” featuring none other than The Weeknd, that originally premiered in Seattle during the fall of 2015 with snippets running rampant til its release. Last, but surely not least, a single tweet earlier that night from Mrs. Kim Kardashian-West had the internet buzzing over her tweeting “YEEZY, YEEZY, YEEZY, NEW SONG ABOUT TO DROP #FACTS”, only a few hours later the ball dropped as Kanye West released his controversial track “Facts” to ring in 2016. Taking shots at Nike, celebrating his record-breaking Addidas Yeezy line numbers & “Jumpin’ over Jumpman” he goes off on the track. We can only hope this is the first of what’s to come from Sean Don, La Flame, Ye, and the rest of the G.O.O.D. Music family for 2016. Bump all the tracks below.
