Logic drops surprise “Bobby Tarantino” mixtape

Logic dropped his Bobby Tarantino mixtape last night, which includes his collab with Pusha T, “Wrist.” The cover art is something like those paperback books out of the 90s, underscoring Logic’s down-to-earth vibe. The 11-track project showcases the man’s talent and still makes it look so effortless.

Logic is currently on the Endless Summer tour with G-Eazy, YG, and Yo Gotti, set to go through the beginning of August.  Even with all the touring he’s been doing this year, he still found the time to give his fans something for their loyalty.

You can stream the project on Apple Music or on the Spotify player below.

Logic – Wrist (feat. Pusha T)

Wrist

Logic took this opportunity to add to the list of songs about wrists with his new single “Wrist” which premiered with Zane Lowe on Beats 1. Backed by a beat from 6ix, his trusty and handy producer, Logic also enlisted the help of Pusha T for this track. Despite how tired we may be of this flicking the wrist idea, Logic’s impressive flow saves him as always. Listen to the clip below.

Pop’s favorite anti-social sweetheart pulled in the equally charming hip-hop equivalent for the remix to her smash hit, “Here.” Logic is known for staying in at home with his wife and friends, away from the crazy parties that seem to plague the youngest generation of artists these days. He just “don’t f*ck with nobody”. Check out his verse below.

Dizzy Wright- “Plotting” [video]

Dizzy Wright has a lot going on right now, what with the possible dismantling of Funk Volume, Wisdom & Good Vibes coming out next Friday, and the upcoming Incredible World Tour with Logic that starts the same day the EP is released. Even with all the noise, he dropped a single off of the new EP called “Plotting” and it’s a good indicator of all the things that are to come from the young Las Vegas rapper. No matter what happens with Hopsin and FV, Dizzy is going to keep putting in the work he knows will keep him in the game.

The Incredible World Tour stops in San Antonio and Houston are sold out, but you can still cop tickets for Austin and Dallas.

Logic feat. Slug & Killer Mike- Tree of Life

tree of life

To ring in 2016, we were blessed with collab “for the fans” from Logic, Slug, and Killer Mike following only a few months after the release of The Incredible True Story which still feels like it dropped only yesterday. With legnedary features from Atmosphere’s Slug, and Run the Jewel’s Killer Mike, they shed light and perspectives of their own on keeping it real.  On the track, Logic speaks on the divide of the industry, when really it should be a time for everyone to shine saying:

We all from the same tree but you leaves degraded
Judging the different branches in music that elevated
Just cause it’s further from the roots don’t mean that you should hate it
Cause there’s a time and place for everything that’s been created

Damn, see in the end we all fam’.”

Vibe to the track below & enjoy.

Logic – The Incredible True Story [album]

Logic’s sophomore album The Incredible True Story dropped this Friday. In the weeks leading up to the release, the rapper went across the country and paid visits to some of his biggest fan in their own homes. It was heart-warming to see an artist take such a hands on effort to fan interaction.

Fans were given “Like Woah,” “Young Jesus” and “Fade Away” ahead of time, tracks that were every bit as honest and clever as expected. Now the full 18-track project has dropped with only three named features. Stream it below or cop the album on iTunes.

As promised, Logic released the third single from The Incredible True Story today, a week before the album drops. According to the Young Jesus, the song is about making the best out of life before you go.

The 18-track album is due out next week and with the bangers that Logic has given us in anticipation of it, there’s no doubt that it’s going to be the stuff of legends.

Logic- “Young Jesus” [video]

As we eagerly await for the release of The Incredible True Story (due in less than a month!), Logic dropped a visual for “Young Jesus” featuring Big Lenbo. A mini-movie of epic proportions, the video follows him through a hum-drum day of restaurant work, car chases, and casual run-ins with the police. Logic’s high energy and sharp bars make this a perfect prelude to the album’s release on November 13th.
