Time Alone: Mac Miller

This past weekend Mac Miller sat down for an interview with….himself? Yep, you read that right. Mass Appeal has a unique series created by Jason Goldwatch called Time Alone, where artists interview themselves. Goldwatch describes Time Alone like Jeopardy.

“There is a series of questions that they must answer with a question and then answer with an answer. Ok, wait, now we’re confused.”

In the interview, Mac compliments his face, talks about telepathy, being white, and his future. Stream it for yourself below:

Mac Miller – The Divine Feminine

divine feminine

As anticipated, Mac Miller released The Divine Feminine this evening. With his pre-released album singles, Dang!, We, and My Favorite Part, we could only expect the best. And that is exactly what we got.

The Divine Feminine is “all about love” and a masterpiece, especially because it’s a whole new side to the Mac we’ve grown to love. In a recent interview with Pigeons & Planes, Mac opened up about about how his life has recently taken a 360 turn for the better:

“Thinking about how dark of a place I was in before, and to see this amazing shift in my life happen, where just choosing to live in a positive way has affected my whole relationship with the universe. I don’t do drugs, smoke weed, drink alcohol, or anything. I’m 100% clear-headed, which is crazy.”

After listening completely thru The Divine Feminine, you can see exactly what Mac is referring to. It is indeed an album about love, and it works for him. Especially at this point in his life.

After dropping The Divine Feminine, Mac released a confession to his fans via Twitter. He’s definitely feeling some type of way this evening, and surrounded by positive vibes/influences.

Mac kicks off his Divine Feminine tour this Saturday, and will be making three Texas stops in November. Snag tickets below:

Larry Fisherman feat. Michael Christmas – !GO FISH! Volume 3

larry-fisherman-go-fish-vol-3

Larry Fisherman aka Mac Miller’s alias for his beat-making “studio rat” alter ego brings us his latest collaboration with none other than Michael Christmas. You may have seen Michael on tour this past year supporting Mac alongside NJOMZA on his GO:OD AM tour. A melodic beat with just enough bass to slap go hand in hand with Christmas’s bars on the track.  Check out this fire collab below.

Mac Miller ft Miguel- “Weekend” [video]

Mac Miller’s GO:OD AM has received raving reviews and with good reason. The latest addition to his projects is as personal and raw as his first go around. In this cut, Mac admits to his troubles and his coping mechanisms– drugs and drinks. It’s all good, though, cause the weekend is coming, and the weekend makes everything better. With Miguel assisting on the vocals, the two take a trip through the city with faceless women and crazy colors. Check out the video below.

NJOMZA X Mac Miller – Creatures of The Night (Ft. Delusional Thomas)

Mac Miller
Mac Miller is a constantly growing artist, who has taken incredible steps towards preserving his legacy in the forefronts of Hip Hop. His new style of abstract yet groovy tunes has kept him in the spotlight. It’s not news that Mac often uses multiple personalities in his music. So much to the point that he uses 3 different names in his work. This new single by NJOMZA features Mac and his 2013 alias Delusional Thomas. Mac taps into all three of his personas on this conceptual track, which also features production by his alias Larry Fisherman and RandomBlackDude, who is actually OF’s Earl Sweatshirt. “Creatures of The Night” features dark themes including a gritty verse from Delusional Thomas, and showcases all three of Mac Miller‘s unique characters. “Creatures of The Night” is edgy and dark but doesn’t stray far from Mac‘s current sound. You can listen below.

Also, if you haven’t already, be sure to buy your tickets to see Mac Miller live. He will be performing in four cities when he rolls through Texas, at the end of the month. Also joining him will be Tory Lanez, NJOMZA, Michael Christmas and Kevin Abstract.  You don’t wanna miss a live performance from Mac and this dope lineup, so check out the dates below.
