After months of hype, Major Lazer has finally released the collaboration with PartyNextDoor and Nicki Minaj titled “Run Up.” The song definitely plays on Diplo’s like for the dancehall sound and is a certified banger. According to Complex,  “Run Up” is expected to be on Major Lazer’s upcoming fourth studio album, Music Is the Weapon.”

And while visiting Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show last summer,  Diplo let us know some of the artists’ who might be featured on the album.

“Definitely we have Usher on it. [“Lean On” collaborator] MØ’s back on songs,” he said. “We have a song with Sam Hunt which is very unusual, but I love him. Travis Scott. I don’t even know; I have to go back…Sia is on a couple ideas, but one of the records might be her record. She’s definitely background vocals on a song.”

PARTYNEXTDOOR – P3 [Album]

As anticipated, PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped P3 last night at midnight. Right before releasing his third project, PND took it to twitter and his official website to let fans know how personal P3 is to him.

PND letter

PND starts the album off with the deep track “High Hopes”, in which he finds a clever way to incorporate lyrics from the classic Blackstreet song “No Diggity”. We then move onto the pre-released single “Not Nice” which is a bumpy-tune, as well as “Only U” with a slight Rasta feel. “Joy” is a lovely track where Party praises his girl. “Transparency” is a deep track about love, sex, drugs, and alcohol. Party ends the album with “Nothing Easy to Please”, which he teased four days before the album drop via twitter.

You can’t listen to P3 and expect bangers, because that isn’t the type of artist PND is. Overall, P3 is a very deep heartbreak album. Listening to the album straight thru won’t connect song-to-song and form a story, but each track does tell one which is how Party is such a relatable artist.

With P3 on it’s way before the end of 2016, PartyNextDoor released a visual for his collaboration with Drake for “Come and See Me” featuring none other than Kylie Jenner. PND took a new route of release by debuting the video first on SnapChat. The video is also filled with star-studded cameos and Miss Jenner’s well-reknown “Kylie Lipkit.” Peep the video below.

SZA – “twoAM” (audio)

Top Dawg’s reigning songstress SZA flipped Drake and PND’s “Come and See Me” into a sultry serenade of her own. Echoing the chorus, she works through the pangs of being a side piece, even though she can’t get enough vitamin D. Listening to “twoAM” at 2 a.m. is its own experience, but even if you can’t stay up that late, her beautiful voice commands attention any time.

PartyNextDoor – Come and See Me (Feat. Drake)

The OVO camp is buzzing absolutely everywhere right now. Drake and his OVO sound team surprised the lucky fans at SXSW this past week, but wait there’s more! PartyNextDoor also unveiled his new collaboration with Drizzy himself. This new track “Come and See Me” features the signature ambient production from Noah “40”. The simple beat gives both PartyNextDoor and Drake room to freely flow. OVO is the only team that always kills it even on the most simplest of drum patterns, so of course this song is gonna be a hit. We are all still waiting for more information on Drake’s Views From The 6. You can listen to “Come and See Me” below.

PARTYNEXTDOOR – Kehlani’s Freestyle

KehlaniFreestyle

PARTYNEXTDOOR isn’t the first to name a track (or freestyle) after his ex, and he certainly won’t be the last. The single life seems to be treating Kehlani well, as she’s having a blast on her first national tour, but her Canadian ex boyfriend is clearly hurting. Listen to the smooth freestyle below.

PARTYNEXTDOOR & TRAVIS SCOTT – NO FEELINGS

OVO Radio premieres a new collaboration from Partynextdoor and Travis Scott as a part of their most recent appearance on Beats Radio 1. The two continue to prove their ability to compliment each other on a track with ‘No Feelings.’ Hopefully, there is more work between PND and La Flame coming out in 2015. For now stream the impressive ‘No Feelings’ below, and look for Rodeo to drop September 4th.
