Logic – Wrist (feat. Pusha T)

Wrist

Logic took this opportunity to add to the list of songs about wrists with his new single “Wrist” which premiered with Zane Lowe on Beats 1. Backed by a beat from 6ix, his trusty and handy producer, Logic also enlisted the help of Pusha T for this track. Pusha T ft. Jay-Z – “Drug Dealers Anonymous”

drug-dealers-anonymous-960x960Pusha T hasn’t let his presidential duties at G.O.O.D. Music stop him from honing his own craft. After hopping onto Royce da 5’9″‘s Layers for a verse, he’s given us a new joint. King Push pulled in none other than Jay-Z for “Drug Dealers Anonymous,” a song that goes in as hard as you would expect. Baauer is back again with more dope electronic sounds. The “Harlem Shake” producer has already killed it with big names in rap, like Fetty Wap. This new track called “Kung Fu”, Baauer recruited GOOD music prez Pusha T and Future Hendrix himself. Future was an excellent addition to this high energy banger. Pusha T takes both verses and fills them with his already prolific dope raps. Don’t be suprised when you hear “Kung Fu” at club, because thats exactly where this song should be. King Push released this 22-minute film to fall in line Darkest Before Dawn‘s release today.  Instead of making it all about the music, though, this short film follows the demise of a small group of hustlers, following in line with the gritty soundtrack to the streets that Pusha created with his new album. The new King plays himself as a one of hustlers wrestling with some all-too-real demons. With minimal dialogue and powerful imagery, the short film is a fitting bonus piece for the album.

The video features songs from DBD, including “M.P.A.” featuring Kanye West and A$AP Rocky (brilliantly produced by J Cole), Sunshine with Jill Scott, and “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets.” Follow Pusha’s struggle below.
