GoldLink And After That

If you”re not familiar with GoldLink, it”s time to get on it. The DMV rapper/Soulection artist has finally announced his debut LP, And After That, We Didn”t Talk, which is due out November 13th. He also dropped the lead single “Spectrum” which sounds like everything that is casino good about Soulection. Just like one of his earlier singles from this year, GoldLink used a killer “90s hip-hop sample; this one”s from Missy Elliott, and it couldn”t go more perfectly with the rest of the song. If this is what we have to look forward to for the rest of the album, we”re in for a banger. Moral of the story: don”t sleep on GoldLink. Listen to “Spectrum” below. One could say GoldLink’s talent (other than rapping) is finding good beats. Like all other artists affiliated with Soulection, he’s all about the sound. “Movin’ On” is your new house party song. Produced by Louie Lastic, the DMV artist’s newest track is all good vibes wrapped into a nice melodic package. With an instantly recognizable sample from 2Pac’s “I Get Around” aka one of the best party songs of all time, “Movin’ On” will appear on the weekend playlists of all your friends.
