SZA Teases “Love Galore” (feat. Travis Scott)

It’s been a minute since we’ve been gifted with new music from SZA. She dropped her last project, Z, in 2014. There’s been a lot of back and fourth for her upcoming album, and at one point it seemed like she quit TDE, but here we are today.

This evening SZA confirmed that we will, indeed, be getting a new album from her this year, A. Rolling Stone is already referring to it as being one of the “most highly anticipated albums of this year”, and I agree.

SZA also debuted a few new tracks last night, one of which surfaced the internet featuring La Flame. According to Billboard, the track is “Love Galore”. Peep the snippets below, and stay on the lookout for details for A.

Ab-Soul – Womanogamy [Video]

Soulo

This is quite the video. Ab-Soul dropped visuals for his latest track “Womanogamy” off his newly released album Do What Thou Wilt and it is extremely NSFW. It’s also compelling, beautifully shot, and most certainly unforgettable. Directed by Yellow Nguyen, this video draws you in from the start with the instantly recognizable TDE logo to the very last second. The story starts with a hilarious skit about not being able to get into a strip club (maybe relatable for some of you reading this?) and follows Soulo through the club with the subject of the track, WOMEN, everywhere. Let’s face it, this video is borderline softcore porn. It’s also so visually appealing and mesmerizing that you almost don’t hear the song. Check it out for yourself below. Do What Thou Wilt is available on iTunes now.

Ab-Soul – Do What Thou Wilt [Album Details + Single]

Today Ab-Soul released details for his highly anticipated album, Do What Thou Wilt (DWTW), including the album artwork and release date.

DWTW is set to drop this Friday, December 9th – the same day as J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyes Only and Post Malone’s Stoney. Safe to say it’ll be a BIG day in the rapisphere my friends!

Soulo also dropped the first single off of DWTW, “Threatening Nature”. He inevitably spits the truth, and hits heavy topics (like always). It’s real, he’s real, and it definitely gives us something to look forward to with this album.

Peep “Threatening Nature” below and make sure to cop DWTW this Friday!

UPDATE:
Soulo also released the tracklist. Notable features include Bas, ScHoolboy Q, SZA, and Mac Miller. Check it out:

ScHoolboy Q- THat Part (Black Hippy REMIX)

that-part-remix

Thursday, before the official release of Blank Face LP, TDE’s CEO Anthony Tiffith dropped the Black Hippy Remix for “THat Part”. OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, OKAY!

In the remix, Q acknowledges this week’s police shootings in which two black men were killed: “Gang bangin’ like we stand for somethin’/When Alton Sterling gettin’ killed for nothin’/Two cowards in the car, they’re just there to film/Sayin’ #BlackLivesMatter should’ve died with him.”

TDE’s CEO has confirmed that there will be a TDE label tour once “everyone drops their albums”, so we have that to look forward to in the future.

Tickets for our Dallas and Houston shows are SOLD OUT, but you can stream the remix below and make sure to check out Blank Face LP.

SchoolBoy Q- By Any Means (Video)

Last night, SchoolBoy Q released the track list for his upcoming album, Blank Face LP, which is due to release on July 8th. Today, the TDE artist dropped his song titled “By Any Means” in joint with a vivid visual, depicting the daily life of Q and his friends while riding around in his L.A neighborhood, specifically on 51st street.

The first five minutes consists of an active yet laid back illustration of Q’s interaction with his homies before the song actually drops, keeping the viewers alert and in deep interest. The title insinuates this is only the beginning, and that more of the video is to come. We hope so, Q. Check out the video below.

Schoolboy Q feat. Kanye West – THat Part [Video]

Yesterday, TDE’s very own Schoolboy Q dropped the long-awaited release date for his forth-coming album on 7/8/2016. This news comes shortly after his new banger “THat Part” featuring collaboration from none other than Kanye West. The visual features Q mobbing through the streets & on a school bus leading into him arriving at the door-step of an infrared lit home featuring Ye. If you’re a true TDE fan & listened to Kendrick Lamar’s track “untitled 02 l 06.23.2014” off of untitled, unmastered, there is a line asking to “Get Top on the phone!”, to which the number appears at the end of the video to reach Top & possibly get a call back. Enjoy the visual below & give ‘em a call ya’ll.

Lance Skiiiwalker – “Speed” (audio)

Little is known about the latest TDE recruit, Lance Skiiiwalker. His name has popped up on various Top Dawg projects, most recently on Jay Rock’s 90059. With subtle marketing here and there, Top Dawg has gradually introduced the young MC to the public. Following a press release announcing that the label officially signed Skiiiwalker, he has now given us a taste of his own creative flow. Listen to “Speed” below, and stay tuned for a full drop from the newest Dawg.

ScHoolboy Q ft Kanye West – “THat Part” (audio)

Top Dawg posted a tentative schedule of TDE’s releases for 2016 back in February, and they’ve kept their word since.

Side note- the “get Top on the phone” note next to Kendrick’s name is pure genius, with his surprise untitled unmastered dropping just a week after the post. Bravo, gentlemen.

Shit about to get nasty real soon… I told y’all I got y’all in 2016 #TDE

ScHoolboy Q and Kanye West teamed up for “THat Part,” a slow but hard-hitting cut that should keep fans appeased until Q’s new album release later this year. Even Yeezy’s yelling to get Top on the phone! Currently the track is only available on Apple Music.

ScHoolboy Q – Groovy Tony [Single & Video]

Groovy Tony

Very few rappers can drop a single during the NCAA Basketball Championship and not get completely lost. But fans were SO thirsty for new music from ScHoolboy Q that he got away with it. “Groovy Tony” is expected to be the first single off ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming album due out soon. In typical 2016 fashion it’s currently only available on Apple Music and Tidal (are you pulling your hair out yet?), but fear not; real fans always find a way to get their hands on the music. If you have Apple Music, stream here.

Update: the visuals are now on VEVO. Thank you, hip-hop gods. Watch below.
