“Nate”, the first single off Vince Staples’ Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2, was randomly released last night via Twitter. The Scoop DeVille produced track features James Fauntleroy and tells the story of Vince riding around town with his car seat back while reflecting on wanting to be like his dad as a young’n.
This song is definitely hot, which should build up hype for SCV2 since it’s one of the only tracks on the project that’s not produced by NO I.D. Imagine what the other cuts must sound like. While you wait for the project to drop, get your tickets to see Vince perform this song on ScHoolboy Q’s “Oxymoron” tour this spring.
