Future Previews New Music on Snapchat

Future

In this day and age, it’s not at all uncommon for artists to use social media to instantly share anything from their concerts to their pets to their deep late night thoughts with their fans. Snapchat is becoming a more popular medium because of its what’s-happening-now vibe and the fact that stories disappear after 24 hours so fans really have to be on their game if they want to catch their favorite artists’ every moment. Future took this idea and ran with it by sharing new music today via the popular app. Could this mean a new album soon? The great thing about the Internet is even though these snaps technically disappear within 24 hours, the real MVPs always find a way to save them. Listen to Future’s new snippets in the clips below.

Future *might* just play this new music when he headlines this year’s JMBLYA alongside a killer lineup: Kehlani, Rae Sremmurd, Kevin Gates, Jazz Cartier, Post Malone and more. This may just be the best JMBLYA yet, so don’t miss out. Get tickets while you still can at the links below.

Dallas – 5/13
Austin – 5/14

Vic Mensa Signs to Roc Nation Records [Video]

Vic-Mensa

“It’s hella just the beginning. But it’s a hell of a beginning though.” Vic Mensa tells it like it is in this footage of moments surrounding the signing of his contract with Roc Nation Records. The camera follows him from the airport to his home in Chicago, but the highlights come when we see him meet up with Jay-Z, sign his contract, and take celebratory shots. Look out for the interesting connection Nirvana (yes that Nirvana) has in all this. You can definitely look forward to big things from Vic Mensa.

Speaking of big things, Vic Mensa is on the lineup for JMBLYA 2015, happening on June 19th in Dallas and June 20th in New Braunfels. Cop your tickets at the link below.
