A couple days ago, Big Sean celebrated his 28th birthday, and dropped an introspective new track. “Get My Shit Together” features a minimal type beat which gives Big Sean the opportunity to spit some deep game. Sean speaks on his journey to success with an effortless flow, which he switches up halfway through the track. Sean shows off his lyrical versatility while talking about his hopes for the future. It’s easy to see Big Sean is in his own mind throughout the song, and it makes for another dope track from the GOOD Music artist.

Fortunately, one track just wasn’t enough for Sean Don, as there has also been a press release for a new collab album featuring Big Sean and R&B talent Jhene Aiko. This new album will be a conceptual effort from the two artists featuring production from producers Key Wane, Detail and Tommy Brown. The new collaborative project Twenty 88 will be a Tidal exclusive which will release April 1st.

PartyNextDoor – Come and See Me (Feat. Drake)

The OVO camp is buzzing absolutely everywhere right now. Drake and his OVO sound team surprised the lucky fans at SXSW this past week, but wait there’s more! PartyNextDoor also unveiled his new collaboration with Drizzy himself. This new track “Come and See Me” features the signature ambient production from Noah “40”. The simple beat gives both PartyNextDoor and Drake room to freely flow. OVO is the only team that always kills it even on the most simplest of drum patterns, so of course this song is gonna be a hit. Flatbush ZOMBiES – “This Is It” [Music Video]

Last night served as the day of release for their debut 3001: A Laced Odyssey, and today they have just released a video for the track “This Is It”. This dope rhythmic instrumental gives all three artists enough room to spit some hard but honest bars. The visual treatment also pairs incredibly well with the laid back but deeply thoughtful vibe of this track. The video shows the ZOMBiES rapping inside a void of clean white space, as we know, this group specializes in stylistic trippy hip hop. 3001: Laced Odyssey is breath of fresh-psychedelic air, that you can bump and even just chill to. On a new album from George Clinton‘s Funkadelic, Kendrick is featured reworking “Untitled II”s first verse for “Ain’t That Funkin Kinda Hard On You”. This is a remixed version which also features a verse from none other than Ice Cube. We all know that Kendrick thrives on funky instrumentals, so this George Clinton track comes pretty natural as he spits a familiar verse over the ambient funk.
