Big Sean – “Get My Shit Together”

get-my-shit-together
A couple days ago, Big Sean celebrated his 28th birthday, and dropped an introspective new track. “Get My Shit Together” features a minimal type beat which gives Big Sean the opportunity to spit some deep game. Sean speaks on his journey to success with an effortless flow, which he switches up halfway through the track. Sean shows off his lyrical versatility while talking about his hopes for the future. It’s easy to see Big Sean is in his own mind throughout the song, and it makes for another dope track from the GOOD Music artist.

Fortunately, one track just wasn’t enough for Sean Don, as there has also been a press release for a new collab album featuring Big Sean and R&B talent Jhene Aiko. This new album will be a conceptual effort from the two artists featuring production from producers Key Wane, Detail and Tommy Brown. The new collaborative project Twenty 88 will be a Tidal exclusive which will release April 1st.

PartyNextDoor also unveiled his new collaboration with Drizzy himself. This new track “Come and See Me” features the signature ambient production from Noah “40”. The simple beat gives both PartyNextDoor and Drake room to freely flow. OVO is the only team that always kills it even on the most simplest of drum patterns, so of course this song is gonna be a hit. We are all still waiting for more information on Drake’s Views From The 6. You can listen to “Come and See Me” below.

Paul Wall – Swangin In The Rain (Remix)( Feat. Slim Thug, J-Dawg, Lil Keke, Z-Ro & Chamillionaire) (Prod. By Scoop DeVille)

Swangin In the Rain Paul Wall
You gotta love it when some Texas boys throwdown a dope track. Paul Wall takes some time today to release a remixed single from Slab God. . Slim Thug, J-Dawg, Lil Keke, Z-Ro & Chamillionaire are all featured on this 6-rapper remix for “Swangin In The Rain”. None of these artists need much introducing, since they are all a huge part of Texas-Rap culture. Texas would not have a rap scene if not for feature-heavy tracks like this one. Each of these uniquely toned rhymers lays it down over the Scoop DeVille produced track, and the variety of flows will have you hitting “replay”. You can listen to the ” Swangin In The Rain (Remix)” below.

Flatbush ZOMBiES – “This Is It” [Music Video]

flatbush
If your one of the out-of-touch people who hasnt already been rocking with Flatbush ZOMBiES, then nows your chance to redeem yourself. Last night served as the day of release for their debut 3001: A Laced Odyssey, and today they have just released a video for the track “This Is It”. This dope rhythmic instrumental gives all three artists enough room to spit some hard but honest bars. The visual treatment also pairs incredibly well with the laid back but deeply thoughtful vibe of this track. The video shows the ZOMBiES rapping inside a void of clean white space, as we know, this group specializes in stylistic trippy hip hop. 3001: Laced Odyssey is breath of fresh-psychedelic air, that you can bump and even just chill to. You can follow the link to itunes to purchase this 12-track FIRE. You can watch the video for “This Is It” below.

The Save Money crew has seen the rise of two of their own, so it’s only fitting and expected that rapper Towkio is up next. He began his rise with “Heaven Only Knows”, and we really expect this newest track to gain traction because of it’s fun natured energy mixed with a bangin’ beat. “G W M” aka “Gang With Me” features newest Roc Nation artist and Savemoney crew member Vic Mensa. Mensa goes nuts on the second verse and Towkio shows why it his time. You can listen to “G W M” below.

Kirko Bangz is one of the hottest Texas artists right now, along side Dallas’ Post Malone and others. Kirko Bangz is definitely winning’ and just like any other Texan, he’s not afraid to boast his success. This H-Town rapper is back with a freestyle right after the release of his new EP “Playa Made”. By the sounds of this laid back freestyle, you can tell Kirko Bangz is feeling pretty confident. His confidence pairs perfect with the Ricky Racks produced beat, as he spits some. Baauer – Kung Fu (Feat. Pusha T & Future)

Baauer-danny-brown
Baauer is back again with more dope electronic sounds. The “Harlem Shake” producer has already killed it with big names in rap, like Fetty Wap. This new track called “Kung Fu”, Baauer recruited GOOD music prez Pusha T and Future Hendrix himself. Future was an excellent addition to this high energy banger. Pusha T takes both verses and fills them with his already prolific dope raps. Don’t be suprised when you hear “Kung Fu” at club, because thats exactly where this song should be. You can check “Kung Fu” below.

Funkadelic – Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You (Remix) (Feat. Kendrick Lamar & Ice Cube)

kendrick_george
For those who love hearing some new Kendrick Lamar, this is a good time. For those who loved his live performance of “Untitled II”, this is a great time. On a new album from George Clinton‘s Funkadelic, Kendrick is featured reworking “Untitled II”s first verse for “Ain’t That Funkin Kinda Hard On You”. This is a remixed version which also features a verse from none other than Ice Cube. We all know that Kendrick thrives on funky instrumentals, so this George Clinton track comes pretty natural as he spits a familiar verse over the ambient funk. You can listen to “Ain’t That Funkin Kinda Hard On You” below.
